Compound Words Game - Combining Two Words Vocabulary Board Game

This board game is the perfect way to review combining two nouns into closed compound words (no hyphen, no space). Your students will use the images and words to make new compound words and advance on the game board. This game is great for small groups and centers and includes everything you need to play (excluding the dice). Prep once and play year after year.

Students will advance on the board game by rolling a number with a spinner or dice. Each time they move forward they'll have to answer a question card. Answers can be recorded on the included answer sheet.

  1. Level 1- Students will change the images into individual words and then put them together forming a compound word. - The answer image is given

  3. n. Students must use higher level thinking to change the images into words and figure out the compound form.
