The goal is not to prepare everything. It is to make a handful of high-use materials easy to find, easy to use, and ready when you need them. A little focused prep now means fewer late-night printing sessions later.

Choose one small task at a time. Print a few favorite resources, organize the files you already own, and set up reusable activities for the units you know you will teach. Put on a podcast or your favorite show, work in short bursts, and let future you enjoy the results.

Start with the materials that always earn their place in your classroom. You do not need to laminate your entire library—just prep the sets that will save you the most time during the school year.
